Project Coordinator (2-year contract)

S/He directly reports to the Programme Manager – Climate, Humanitarian and Rural Development and has the following specific duties:

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the project funded by Kadoorie Charitable Foundation (KCF), including but not limited to project implementation with colleagues in China Programme Unit and partners in Mainland China
  • Undertake communications with KCF and coordinate the reporting to KCF
  • Develop and enhance the Monitoring and Evaluation (M & E) mechanism in KCF project and further facilitate relevant M & E system in China Programme Unit
  • Coordinate and facilitate the generation of project stories and visuals materials in China Programme Unit for fundraising and communication purposes
  • Explore and develop other institutional fundraising opportunities
  • Undertake other duties required by respective manager and China Programme Director

 

Requirements:

  • Degree holder with at least 5 years of relevant work experience in development organisation.
  • Good understanding of development issues
  • Excellent planning, reporting and coordination skills
  • Proficiency in using MS Office as well as Chinese and English Word-processing
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese (Fluent Putonghua is a must)
  • Identification with Oxfam’s mission and vision is a must.
